LIFE AFTER STROKE WITH BRET “THE HITMAN” HART

In honour of World Stroke Day on October 29, we invite you to discover life after a stroke through the lens of former professional wrestler and Canadian Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart. Join us virtually as Bret shares his journey, from the stroke he experienced in 2002 to his eventual inspiring recovery, and his role in helping March of Dimes Canada in its mission to help people survive and thrive after a stroke. Then, Kristen Southon, Life Enrichment Coordinator at Amica Georgetown, will share some helpful exercises and programs that can best support someone who has experienced a stroke. Plus, Urban Poling will discuss how their orthopedic walking poles can be helpful tools for living life after a stroke.
